Ever since I had my small family of four, I’ve been itching to have a family vacation where we can all enjoy ourselves, have some fun and relax at the same time. But I don’t want it to be the typical, theme park oriented vacation since honestly, it is really centered for the kids. Plus we will be so tired after a very long day at the park that we might just be cranky all at the same time. My idea of a perfect vacation is somewhere a bit remote, so that we can be in tune with nature. I also want it a little bit luxurious for my partner and I so that we can still get to enjoy each others company and remain comfortable at the same time. A friend of mine suggested that we head out to the Bahamas, since there are a lot of family vacations in the Bahamas area. That sounds really cool to me.

When I think of the idea of having one of our family vacations in the Bahamas, I immediately think of bright white sand, clean air, very blue waters and perfect weather all year round. I checked out some family vacations bahamas packages online, and not all were ridiculously expensive, surprisingly. There were a couple of packages that were priced just right, not too cheap to be dubious and not too expensive to be, well, absurd. There’s one particular package that I really liked, where there’s this resort that basically had everything. A casino, a mini-theme park, some really cute pools for the kids and stunning views of the beach right at your room’s balcony. They also had several themed sections of the resort where you can interact with the sea animals, or do some first-time snorkeling with the kids. That really interested me since I know, if we were up to it, we can be adventurous. But at the same time, I know we still have some time to unwind by the pool while the kids enjoyed the water slide. I really liked the fact that they have some family packages already in stored for us so that means, families are really one of their target markets. That sounds really good to me.
